When will CocoonJS support letterbox mode?

Discussion and feedback on Construct 2

I know I'm bumping an old thread, but does anyone know if letterbox scaling is now supported in cooconjs or not?

@retrodude

as Gordon Ramsay would say: never, ever, ever :)
or as Ashley would say: ask Ludei :D

@szymek
Well I guess that's a good way to put it.

@Ludei
Any ideas if this is on Ludei's to-do list? I know there are workarounds without letterbox but this form of scaling seems the easiest.

@retrodude

Ashley mentioned that Intel XDK is good alternative to CocoonJS.

Maybe they already support Letterbox mode?

@szymek - That's the old appMobi right? They seem great, except for the black screen your game will inevitably get. They told me they would soon fix the problem over a year ago I think it was now, and trying it just last month the issue is still there.

@szymek - They sent me an email when they took over and I tried it then. Is 'new' newer than that? Do you have a link to some info? I would really like for it to work, because other than that one fatal flaw it was a dream to use.

@szymek

"...and gives us the ability to have better local file management in addition to cloud." Here's hoping that's the fix I've been waiting for! The black screen issue was a problem in how they managed the memory of certain images.

But yeah it looks all different now, I can't wait to give it a go and see how it fares.
