where can i see a videos source

Get help using Construct 2

before you report this for being on the wrong forum area this has something to do with construct 2 so, i have been working on my latest game and i want to use a video in it i insert my video as a project file and when i try to play it in the preview it doesn't play but then i figured out that you have to insert a source into the video object and i don't know how to see a videos source if someone could let me know that would be greatly appreciated

So your question was in the wrong forum anyway, as technical questions are supposed to be posted and answered in the "How do I" forum. So topic moved.

Please refer to the manual article of the video plugin.
You likely want your video file to be a project file.

The source is "videoname.extencion". If you can't learn this with the manual and my answer, you can upload/attach the .capx of your game, and i will work on this fix for you. Good luck!

And if you have private data that we don't need see in your .capx, you can copy the file, open the copyed file and change the private data for other (but keep the system).
