Why Is My "Touch" Shooting Not Working?

Get help using Construct 2

Post » Sat Sep 15, 2012 7:35 pm

When I touch the shoot button, it shoots two arrows instead of just one. I've already added a system "trigger once" condition for that event, but it still shoots two arrows and not just one like it should.

How could I make shoot just one object (the arrow)?

Thanks,
Sebastian

Maybe it shoots one arrow on touch and another one on release? Try doing it again but without releasing the button or touch.

No, I just tested that. It's not the case. I don't have any "on release" commands coded in. It's coded so that when my finger "is touching" the shoot button, it should spawn one arrow from my character. I just don't understand why it's not working:( What else can I do? Please, I need help.

You have 2 actions that shoot and arrow, remove one.

If I get rid of the "trigger once" command, it gets even worse. It starts shooting five arrows instead of the two that it shoots now with it there. Any other ideas?
