Hi guys, hope you're all good

I am a student studying a video games course at university here in Manchester, UK and I'm working on a lengthy serious platform game in a team of 7 members in my class using Construct 2, 3ds Max, Mudbox, Flash and Photoshop. It's been in development since october 2011 mainly due to various problems. First one being that we were using UDK but there was no good programmer in our team. So I looked for something else and found the Citrus Engine, which is a Flash engine with emphasis on less-programming but still required some heavy ActionScript knowledge to make a decent game. Then, thank god, I found Contruct 2 and our team's been using it since and it's amazing

Anyway, CidCinder is an upcoming game about an Angel cast out from heaven who ends up in hell, obtains devil abilities and the power to switch from Angel to Devil form and vice versa. you have to find your way out of hell and back into heaven, learning about what is going on, using the unique abilities of each form. In the Devil form you can attack, combo and dash only, and in the Angel form, you can double jump and climb walls only. So you have to change forms quickly depending on the situation.

Right now we have 6 enemy types, a tutorial level finished, and the 1st level about 50% finished. The will be out by mid-May on Facebook, Chrome store, iPhone, iPad, Android phones and Windows 8 metro and Windows 8 mobile [if it works]

You can track the progress on the game's Facebook and on our YouTube page:

here's some screenshots and a work in progress video for the main mechanic. You can find many more videos on the video channel. Be sure to like the Facebook page if you like what you see!
