Wow, impressed by SC2

Maybe it's because of my tendency to be detail-oriented and perfectionistic, but it's taking me much longer. I can get side-tracked from my original task at hand all so I can learn as much as possible about another feature in C2! So what MIGHT have taken me a matter of hours has...er...taken me several weeks. LOL But yes, I'm with you on the praise. C2 just has a way of making development actually ACCESSIBLE to your average gamer.

For now I'm sticking to "does it work?", putting the minimum effort into anything, be it a particles effect, or a mini-game, and move on., otherwise I'll end up yak shaving (feature creep).

And yes, SC2 is very accessible, seeing that at the moment I haven't got the need for a programmer, seeing how SC2 has allowed me to advance leaps.

*thumbs up*

I am also really amazed about this , the ability of C2 is so much and in less time , this is like miracle :D

There should be a show in Discovery "How Do They Do It" :)

Thanks :P

Yes, and knowing that it already includes stuff you'll need, like .PickedCount
that's Great.

yes I agree with you California, that so many things are already made in it, which will take about a week or so to just make them work. :D

SC2 is really worth investing time into. I've tried my hand at programming in Flash, C#, and Java, but my memory isn't too sharp at coding.

I've been screwing around with some other ideas with the Platformer setup making some mock physic objects.

Doing things a 2nd time is usually always faster, I did a few hours of fixing bugs then C2 crashed but it was only actually a 5 minutes of work to redo.
