Writing to an External File?

Get help using Construct 2

Post » Tue Apr 02, 2013 10:09 pm

I want to make a diagramming tool for my Android, BUT, I would want to wrote to an external file for saving and loading the diagrams. And so I can transfer/backup the file.

The tutorials say that appmobi and cocoonjs say they don't support ajax or XML.

Is this still the case or is there another option?

Thanks.

In the newest beta, Ajax was fixed in cocoonjs.

I just noticed that last night!

Unfortunately, I'm not sure what I'd do with it.

Can I read and write to a simple text file on the device?

Construct 2 doesn't support writing files at the moment. Your best bet is either WebStorage or savegames.
