Thanks, as I mentioned I'm not ready to make the game public yet but I will do it when I get further in development :)

Hello again

I'm few months away to finish my game and still waiting for the Xbox Live features to be added to the engine.
@Ashley I know you are busy by working on Construct 3 but can you tell us when we can expect Xbox Live features to be added on Windows plugin?

Thank you

It turns out the Xbox Live stuff is kept behind NDA by Microsoft. We're working on getting access to it, this is the only reason for the holdup.

No, we've asked Microsoft a couple of times now, they are still not responding to us. This is pretty typical of large companies in my experience. Hopefully we will get through eventually.

@Ashley
Just stopped by here to check the status on this myself. They've already approved my C2-based game for release on XB1, so I'm reaching out to see if the MS reps who helped with that can look into if there's a way to speed up the process and my producer says he knows someone in the tools group to also contact. I'm not under the impression that anyone over there likes the weird holdups either. What's a good way to shoot contacts over to you, the support email?

As far as I know you need to apply for [email protected] and if you get accepted you get access to forums and info about adding Achievements and Xbox Live Features (Friendslist...).

btw: I dont know if you need "extra magic" to allow a xbox app to be "docked" but it would be nice if this would be possible with C2 apps/games (coming soon to Xbox Store as UWP Apps). And maybe support for background music (new in latest update)? :)

Hopefully we can add some of the Xbox Live stuff to the Windows Store plugin through the next beta cycle. (It also works on Windows 10!)

I can finally check "Win10 Xbox" in the dev center. Updating Visual Studio now and trying to submit my app for Xbox. :)

I hope its possible to add more things to the WinStore plugin in the future. Maybe some only work if you are accepted by [email protected] (like Nintendo to build for Wii) so you can use Achievements, Xbox Live Friends and so on. (and things I mentioned above) Windows 10 is great. :D

I updated Visual Studio and UWP components and rebuilt the app but I cant enable Xbox in the dev center. What do I have to do to make the app package compatible with Xbox One?
