Please Help!

My entire project is based on an xml object and I need to export it for android. I tried cocoonjs and everything works fine except the xml doesn't load.

Has anyone the same problem? It seems xml is not supported by cocoonjs.
What can I do now?
Has anyone tried phone gap?

I am in the same position. However, in a few weeks I'm going to be writing an android xml parser that will fill in the gaps where the official parser should be. I need one as a non option, but I need to finish a few things first.

So what can I do ?
I searched the ludei forum. They say xml http request works...
For me it seems that even if I paste my xml in the xml object it still not works.
Any ideas?

first time you open the game, load all the data into localstorage, then use local storage instead of xml. Every time you load the game, check if the data is loaded, if its loaded, then continue. Yes, its not the best thing but at least can work and the only bad thing is the load time of first time, but will be only bad if you must load A LOT of data.

Think that the permissions for read/modify files for a browser (its that you use in android for execute your game) are very dangerous, this is why xml doesnt work.ByR2013-07-08 17:27:07

Wait, are we talking ajax loading xml files, or xml data parsing?

We are talking about parsing. I tried it without using ajax, just paste the xml in the xml object and it still doesnt work.

ByR your idea sounds interesting. Is it possible to load at least from json on Android?
I want to use different files to support different languages.
