I'm seeing a trend here ...

And of course they've tied The Sims to it, since that's their biggest franchise on PC.

Also of note, just like the one from Microsoft - it kinda sucks.

I've tried it and I can't find any way to edit the games other than via some kind of wizard asking questions about the game (eg. "How fast should the enemies move?"). Is that it? A series of heavily modifiable presets? Is there an actual code or event editor anywhere?

It's there Ashley, but I wouldn't even bother checking it out.

I only post this (and the last one) because they're so bad hehe.

Well, it's hard to look at it as a game creator in its own right when it's called "The Sims Carnival Game Creator". Looks like just a promo.

True. But they are offering $1000 for a contest of a game made with it.

It would take more than that to get me to use it though lol.

That video sums it up lol.

From the video: "Below youll find a suite of simple tools used to create...(err)...STUFF!"
Now I understand why EA has to buy other/better/smaller companies to make decent games XD
EDIT: although, this program looks like it is better and more useful/serious than the Microsoft one
"Construct 4 lets YOU make advanced games! (maybe)" Construct Classic - Examples Kit

Haha, the "STUFF!" part of the video made me laugh. Seriously, who is in charge of their marketing team? This is just horrendous. What kind of a name is "Sims Carnival"? That is a ridiculous name- how can you take that seriously? Anyways, good find, I had a good laugh from that "STUFF!" part.

If I actually got paid $1000, sure, I'd made something with it. But a contest? Pfft.
