Good Sounds, slightly misleading teaser

by ProNice on Friday, November 27, 2015

I found this product to be useful, there are 1000 ready-to-use retro sounds from different genres, so thats correct. The youtube teaser included 5 musical scores with an overlay of several different soundeffects. There are a lot of those sound effects in this pack, but no musical scores. Those scores where specially manufactured for the youtube teaser and there are no more musical themes included (I really hoped there would be some) but I guess it's alright.

Fantastic - NO MUSIC

by cybertron7 on Friday, November 27, 2015

I was hoping to get that music in the demo. There are none. Too bad.

The rest of the pack is AMAZING however. My game will really come to life.

Exactly 8 bit

by Tibeytan on Saturday, October 22, 2016

This pack is perfect for what it is made for, 8 bit, but for it only. So be sure to use it for its purpose!

Extremely Satisfying

by RJAG on Thursday, September 25, 2014

Found this on Scirra's ad on /r/gamedev.

I am so glad I did.

The quality of the sounds is extremely high. They sound like they should: retro sounds, but with modern quality.

None are annoying, like retro games can be when listened to out of context. They all are nice on the ears. Great sounds.

There are tons of sounds, and most are so generic they can be in any game.

A great value, a great deal, and great quality.

Will definitely refer others to this pack.

There is literally not a single sound I dislike, even if I won't be using all of them.

There are even environment sounds, which is not easy to do in a retro style. A great artist made these.
