Tutorial written by MasgameOriginally published on 4th, July 2014

1. Add a Sprite obj.
2. go to event sheet and go "On start of layout = (Whatever you Sprite is called) Animations Stop"

3. Make the different Frames in the Sprite by double clicking on it. then right click on "frames" the go insert frame. do this for the amount of times you want different textures for this Sprite.
4. single click on the Sprite then Open up or if already there, go to Properties dialog. then in the dialog there should be a part called properties. In properties there will be a thing called "Initial Frame" and set the frame to the one you want.
Only works with static animation Objects

I'm not quite sure what this tutorial is about. That you can stop animation from playing? That you can have more than one animation frame?

It is possible load and select multiple animations on one sprite by using the Animation Window.

This tutorial is about having a different look for different sprites on screen, (only for looks and the free version) just to clarify.

It's really not clear. Besides, you can achieve the same by using different animations with the same object.
