Tutorial written by TomOriginally published on 27th, September 2013 - 1 revision

If you want to submit your game to appBackr and possibly make a bit of money, you will first need to create a WGT file for your game.

First of all, ensure you have filled out the details in project properties:

Next, export your project to Tizen:

When prompted, click Submit to appBackr:

A new browser window will open. If you have not yet registered as a user on appBackr, it will ask for a couple of details. Please note, you must be logged in or registered as a Scirra user first to be able to access this page.

The new window asks you for a wgt file. To create this file, first locate the files just created as part of the Tizen export:

Add them to a new zip file, you can call it anything you want. However, once the zip is created make sure you rename it to have a .wgt extension!

That's it! You can now upload this file on the online form.

Thanks for this Tom. When we submit an app via AppBackr, does it get entered into the Tizen competition as well as the potential to get a possible $250?

My game has passed the test appBackr they would give me 250$, once the game is to be placed in Tizen. I exported the file as in the lesson. In writes error.
File download failed.
There's no ID of the package or version manifest.xml (or config.xml) file is registered.
Please visit download new manifest.xml (or config.xml) file and download it again.
After I updated the file config.xml for instructions, writes the same mistake.
Help with addition of a .wgt file on Tixen please.

I was going to use this method until I read the terms and conditions. This was in there . . . . . . To authorize the foregoing, subject to the terms and conditions of this
Agreement, you hereby grant appbackr a non-exclusive, sublicenseable and transferable license, for each
country to which you authorize through Xchange your app to be distributed, for appbackr to reproduce,
distribute, prepare derivative works of, display, and perform each such app in connection with Xchange
and appbackr’s business and (and any of its successor’s and affiliate’s businesses), including without
limitation for promoting and redistributing part or all of Xchange (and derivative works thereof) in any
media format and through any media channel now or hereafter known.

So to wrap that up in short, you give them permission to reproduce your App in any way possible. While you maintain all the Intellectual property rights, you give them a sub-license which basically makes your intellectual property rights Null and Void, because they can do whatever they want with your app and do not need your consent.
