How to embed an HTML5 game on your website

Tutorial written by TomOriginally published on 28th, November 2011 - 3 revisions

The new Scirra Arcade has a great feature that allows you to embed any of the games on your website.

Firstly, locate the game you wish to embed on your website and navigate to the embed box on the bottom left of the page:

Select all the code and copy it. Now open up the HTML page on your website that you want the game to show in and paste the embed code into it. All good blogging platforms should let you manually enter HTML code directly. Your game should now be embedded to your page!

To Scirra Staff,

Firstly, I enjoy your products, services, and web community.

Secondly, I'm particularly interested in the [HTML5] Game Embedding Service and propose the addition of a Universal Score API for High-Scoreboards on any website (in contrast to technique described at www.scirra.com/tutorials/346/online-high-score-table-ajax-php-mysql ).

The scope of Score Submission could range from within only the website domain or www (a centralized host), viewable on Scirra.com. Such an API would support the integration of tournaments, leaderboards, achievements, to engage my website Members and encourage replay of Scirra games.

I sincerely look forward to your response.
