There are already treatments for allergic reactions out there and plenty, but each person may have a different reaction to some of the treatments as they can cause certain side-effects, some mild and others not so mild.

An example of this is the popular use of antihistamines for the treatment of symptoms of allergic reactions such as urticaria which includes itching, pain, and inflammation. Antihistamines can help with the symptoms, in fact, they're pretty effective, but several some people do experience side-effects and so those individuals may want to try a different treatment to avoid those side-effects.

Antihistamines cause some people to feel dizzy, drowsy, they can upset the stomach if taken orally, etc. For other people, antihistamines don't cause any side-effect and are very effective in reducing allergic symptoms and offering relief.

Now, for those of you that are in fact looking for another option or an alternative to things like antihistamines for some reason, you may find that alternative in Oxyhives. However, and this may put some people off, Oxyhives may also cause side-effects so please consult with a medic before using it.

Oxyhives is a homeopathic spray which uses bee venom and snake venom, herbal extracts like arnica montana and other ingredients that are all natural and if you know anything about homeopathy, you know that it contains alcohol because all of the ingredients are diluted in alcohol and purified or distilled water.

The alcohol concentration is about 20% in Oxyhives. Also, Oxyhives does not have any clinical evidence. Don't misunderstand, these ingredients or at least some of them do have some evidence but not the product itself or the formula.

There's evidence for apis mellifica in reducing inflammation, although very little and very difficult to find. There is also scientific evidence for urtica urens which shows that it has some antioxidant and antimicrobial properties.

However, the diluted tinctures here may not perform as well as the extracts used in these studies and the ingredients here are extremely diluted. The apis mellifica is diluted 200 times, which is why there is "200c" under the name in the label.

There is no way to tell if the product will work with the ingredients being so diluted, without using it. Please consult a medic before using Oxyhives and visit Oxyhives.com if you are interested in the product.

Here are all of the ingredients: apis mellifica 200c, arnica montana 6x, ichthyolum 6x, lachesis 30c, hepar suis 6x, mercurius solubilis 200c, rhus toxicodendron 200c, urtica urens 200c.
